Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my very first blog post. I’m so excited to share a little bit about myself and my art journey with you.
How It All Started
Ever since I was a toddler, I’ve loved art. I was always drawing — stick figures were my specialty when I was very young! Even back then, I had a creative mind and a passion for making things.
As I got a little older, I made a decision that would shape my life:✨
I wanted to become an artist.
That dream has stayed with me for over 10 years now. 🎨
The Journey So Far
My parents have been really supportive, which I’m so grateful for. But of course, every journey has its ups and downs. I’ve faced moments of doubt — like wondering:
Am I good enough to sell my art?
Am I actually improving?
Honestly, I still ask myself those questions. But I believe growth takes time, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
My Favourite Art Products (So Far!)
Right now, I’m experimenting with lots of different art products. I haven’t picked a favorite just yet, but I’m excited to share it with you in a future blog!
My Favourite Type of Artwork
I love drawing in black and white.Even though it can take longer — especially when you’re going for fine detail — there’s something really special about it. With enough practice, you can create a beautiful, slightly detailed piece in just 5 minutes. It’s all about the years of learning and improving behind the scenes.
What Mediums Am I Practicing?
Here are the main ones I’m working with right now:
Painting: Acrylic, Watercolour, and Oil
Sculpting: Clay sculptures — super fun and messy in the best way!
Crocheting: I’ve recently started exploring crochet too! It’s a relaxing and creative way to make something soft and beautiful with just yarn and a hook. 🧶
A Bit About Me
I’m 17 years old
I don’t have a shop (yet!)
I hope to sell at markets someday
AnneliseArts is just me — a one-person creative team 💪
Thank You! 💖
Thank you so much for reading my first blog post! I’ve got lots more to share — from my art journey, tips, behind-the-scenes moments, and more. Keep an eye out for future posts!
Stay creative and kind,AnneliseArts
